Information for trainees
Welcome to the B-BOLD Minds Trainee Program. This three-day internship offers you the chance to gain insight into cross-border child and adolescent psychiatric care. The main goal is to help you understand different healthcare systems, enhancing your skills and broadening your cultural awareness in mental healthcare.
During the internship, you will primarily observe clinical practices, rather than actively treat patients. This gives you an opportunity to learn from professionals in a real-world setting. You will have local supervision to guide you through the process.
You can either stay abroad for the week or travel back and forth each day, depending on what works best for you. As part of the program, you will also attend key cross-border events, such as a kick-off meeting and a final symposium, and take part in case discussions to deepen your understanding of the work.
Additionally, your experiences will be part of a qualitative research study aimed at evaluating the internship.
