Program leader and coordinator Karakter International Bas de Veen investigates international similarities and differences in the field of mental health, with a focus on the Euregio. He also focuses on how international differences can contribute to improvements in care in his own country. In this Academic Hour, he offers a context-oriented view of mental health in different countries and discusses the potential factors that can influence this. In addition, he discusses the implications of international differences in classifications for clinical practice and science.
