The project addresses the mental health challenges faced by young people due to factors like COVID-19, climate change, the war in Ukraine, and excessive social media use. These complex issues require the mental health professionals of the future to be better equipped to help young people struggling with mental health problems.

Valuable insights
The project promotes cross-border exchanges of child and adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists, and trainee nurses, offering valuable insights into different healthcare systems and enhancing medical and psychological skills. These exchanges not only improve training attractiveness but also provide unique opportunities to enhance psychiatric care in the Euregio Rijn-Waal region. By allowing trainees to work in neighboring countries, the project fosters better communication and sustainable cooperation among professionals.

Improving quality

B-BOLD Mind focuses on three key aspects: improving care quality through sociocultural learning, making training more appealing at partner organizations, and strengthening the euregional child and adolescent psychiatric network. Together, these efforts contribute to a sustainable social innovation infrastructure, with findings shared for broader application.
