Through the B-BOLD Minds project, we promote cross-border exchanges of psychiatrists, psychologists, and trainee nurses, enhancing skills and care quality in the Euregio Rhine-Waal region.

These exchanges not only improve training attractiveness but also provide unique opportunities to enhance psychiatric care in the Euregio Rijn-Waal region. By allowing trainees to work in neighboring countries, the project fosters better communication and sustainable cooperation among professionals. Together, these efforts contribute to a sustainable social innovation infrastructure, with findings shared for broader application.

Academic Hour
Karakter organizes a monthly online lecture series called the Academic Hour, where current developments in mental health care, scientific studies, and clinical practices are presented. With its growing international network, we are piloting the inclusion of clinicians from international partners to foster the exchange of knowledge and expertise. Check the Academic Hour calendar.

Training courses
Karakter offers a variety of training courses designed to meet the needs of mental health professionals. These programs provide the latest knowledge and skills to enhance clinical practice and support the mental health of children and adolescents. For example, we provided a VIPP-AUTI training in the French-speaking part of Belgium. This training is part of our diverse range of programs designed for mental health clinicians, which can be tailored to meet specific needs and preferences. Check the training calendar.
